This double hung attic unit was one of several produced for an 1896 four square house that was completely restored after having been vacant for five years. The house sustained a fire that damaged many of the frames and all of the sash. The new sash were glazed with preservation glass throughout and incorporate the existing weight and pulley balance system. This eliminated the need to rework the frames. We also constructed wooden storms and half screens to replace the existing triple tracks. The attic window shows a complete unit with half screen in place.
