Spring bolts are used most frequently to secure single hung sash. In this case, the bolts are used in pairs and are slipped into 3/8" diameter holes drilled through the lower stiles and engage holes drilled into the window jamb. These brass spring bolts can also be used in a variety of situations where a sash or screen needs to be easily removable, such as with out-swing casement windows. The turned brass bolt has an attractive spade shaped finial that affords a secure and comfortable grip.

Our spring bolts are solid brass with a stainless steel spring. The stainless steel spring prevents any corrosion and assures trouble free service. These spring bolts are available in Lacquered Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Satin Nickel and Polished Nickel finishes.

We sell them individually. They are often (but not always) used in pairs.
